Creating Tomorrow's HEROES

For the past 7 years we have been involved in the Rugby Development at Pretoria Technical High School and Staats Ptesident CR Swart. We started in 2014 with only 2 Rugby Teams which have been developed to 5 teams and a girl’s team. In 2015 with the management and coaching from ZAYO,  Pretoria Technical High School hosted the Prestigious Beeld Trophy Finals – for the 1st time in 105 years, also becoming the 1st Black school to host a Final of such nature. 50 Rugby players (boys & girls) have represented the Blue Bulls Rugby Union at under age level. ZAYO had a u/19 player contracted by the Bulls for 2018 Currie Cup and 2 players attending UKZN on full bursaries and possibly join the SHARKS.

With the assistance of ZAYO, High School Staats President CR Swart moved up in league to Big School in 2019.

In 2017 the Founder of ZAYO Sport Academy Coach Francois van Tonder endorsed the need of learners that have a strong passion for sport but not a strong passion for Academics.

In 2018 ZAYO Educational Academy was established, offering CAPS Tuition in both Afrikaans and English..

Focusing on both sport and academics with no more than 10 learners in a class, individual one on one tutoring assistance.

ZAYO Education Academy is SACAI Registered. Registration 93101

SACAI  provides National Senior Certificate (NSC) assessment services to a diverse range of educational institutions.
The Institute is value driven and its vision is to provide accountable and affordable assessment and examination services to all institutions that strive to achieve excellence in education.
SACAI subscribes to and meticulously complies with the prescripts of the NSC curriculum as determined by the Minister of Basic Education, currently referred to as the CAPS curriculum.
SACAI’S candidates who write and pass the NSC examination in Grade 12 are issued National Senior Certificates by Umalusi, the Quality Council responsible for the sub-framework General and Further Education and Training of the National Qualification Framework (NQF).
Furthermore, candidates that meet the relevant requirements are accepted by South African tertiary institutions for further study.

For us as Zayo to achieve and complete our mission we rely heavily on the income of the public  for the simple reason that 90% of these athletes come from Previously Disadvantage backgrounds and rural areas, and cannot afford to buy Sport uniforms etc .
